What interests you about technology and software development?
When I was young, I was just a kid who loved to play computer games. I didn’t have any clear dream about what I wanted to be in the future. When it came time to start thinking about a career path, I chose software. However, when I started studying, I didn’t feel like I was too good at coding. It was at the first company I worked for I was given the chance to write some code to execute a test scenario. That’s when my technical confidence began to improve.
I like reading novels, and there’s something connected that makes me feel good about writing test scripts. So when I interviewed with Pronto and they told me I’d get to write automated test scripts all day, I was sold!
What is the most interesting project/feature you've worked on at Pronto Tools?
Automated tests with Cucumber for sure! Sometime I can’t implement tests by my own, so I have to make it clear on test scenarios and test data to let developers help me. It makes me feel awesome when my communication makes things easier for others.
What is the most interesting challenge in this weird culture?
At the moment I’m the only tester at Pronto Tools, which means I spend a lot of time working with different people and teams at Pronto. It can be a challenge to make sure everybody has their needs covered, but overall I think I do a pretty good job. 🙂
What are you building in your free time?
I love to play Dota 2! It helps you understand and appreciate synergy when working with a team. And I love to learn a new thing like growing plant, baking bread, Thai boxing and clay ovens. Pronto support our tuition course. What a great company!
What's your favorite Pronto value?
Someone That People Can Count On. I need to be super man some day.
What's your most embarrassing Pronto experience?
People usually take my shirt off and tell me to dance when we have parties. The embarrassing thing is I feel a little happy when I do it.
